Park Mi-jung

Chairman

Hello, I'm Park Mi-jung, Chairman of the Creative International Beauty Association.

CIBA began in 2006 as a coalition of private organizations and was officially incorporated in 2013 under Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

We have worked to discover and train artists across the beauty and creative-arts fields, and to contribute to pan-Asian beauty and cultural development through education and industry-development programs for young people, women returning to the workforce, and seniors.

Beyond simply working as beauty professionals, we're building a community of beauty digital creators for a digital world — through the Creative Beauty Fashion Art Fair and the many events that surround it. We look forward to growing together with our members as CIBA.

Founding Purpose

Why CIBA exists

Our purpose is to build systematic scholarship and high-caliber resources around the popular painting arts used across fashion, costume, makeup, and party design as they develop across society — through international exchange and research, talent development, performance-art opportunities, creator support, and the promotion of creative activity — actively meeting pan-Asian demand and contributing to the creative cultural and artistic development of every country.

The association is named "사단법인 크리에이티브국제미협," with the English name "Creative International Beauty Association" (abbreviated CIBA). "Face painting" here refers to face-painting, body-painting, and related body- and object-painting activities.
