Competition guidelines and how to enter

Creative International Beauty Skills Competition (online) poster

An online competition that judges creative work remotely from beauty colleges, beauty academies, industry businesses and members of the association's branches and chapters across Korea. Every event is entered by sending photos and videos by email.

How to enter

Every event is entered remotely by submitting a form. Send your photos and videos to the email address below.

Fill in the form for your category with photos of your work, then submit it.
Videos
Name the file with your organization / event / artist name and submit it by email.

Ask the competition contact for the form and sample files.

What to submit for each event

Makeup

7 events

  • Beauty makeup

    National license exam task, classic

  • Art makeup

    Fantasy, face art

  • 2 process shots
  • 3 photos of the finished work (front, left and right)

  • Character makeup

    Special effects makeup, body painting

  • 1 promotional video

  • Art mask

  • 3 photos of the work (sculpted mask: front, left and right)

  • Beauty illustration

  • 1 to 2 photos of the work (front view of the beauty illustration sheet)

  • Personal color consultant

  • 1 to 2 photos of the work
  • On a pattern sheet in any format, style the look down to the décolleté, including makeup, hair and accessories

  • Beauty creator

  • Video (1 to 3 minutes)
  • Choose skincare and color cosmetics products and make a creative video

Nail art

  • Nail care

  • Gel one-tone sculpture

  • 5 photos
  • 1 photo before the treatment showing the model, the entrant and the materials set out
  • 1 process photo in which the entrant and the model can be identified
  • 3 photos of the finished work (1 front view from above, 2 detail shots)

  • In the video, add a short explanation of the device you use and the results expected from it

  • Ear and foot therapy

    Shot after walking, arranged in PicsArt

  • 7 photos and a video (3 minutes)
  • Foot photos (1 each of the sole, the top of the foot and the top of the toes)
  • Ear photos (left and right)
  • Front-view face photos before and after the treatment, arranged in a 2-panel PicsArt frame

Beauty Therapy

1 event

  • Beauty therapy

  • 3 photos and a video (3 minutes)
  • The beauty therapy process, before and after photos, and a video of the treatment

AI

3 events

  • Beauty content

  • Beauty illustration

  • Skin design content

  • AI work (an image you generated yourself)
  • Resolution: at least 2,000 pixels on the long side (any aspect ratio)
  • File format: JPG, PNG
  • File size: 20MB or less
  • Quantity: 2 images per event
  • A description of the AI generation and the work (state the AI tool and prompt used, and whether it was retouched afterwards)

Entries must follow the rules of each event. Breaking the rules can lead to a points deduction.
