A kickoff meeting and annual general meeting were held October 7 at Gimpo Golden Beauty. Reflecting the shift toward digital, the event was renamed the 'Creative Beauty Fashion Digital Fair' and expanded to 12 beauty categories.

At a UNI regular meeting on November 14, Dr. Kwon Han-jin of The Master Clinic was appointed CIBA's medical advisor, with discussion on building guidelines between the beauty and medical fields.
An annual general meeting and academic seminar were held November 19 in Jecheon, North Chungcheong. Attendees discussed misuse of the 'K-Beauty' name abroad and launched a campaign to address it.
Co-hosted with Garosu Lifestyle at Dongdaemun Maxstyle on October 15. Grand-prize and National Assembly awards were presented across makeup, hair, nail, skin, and semi-permanent makeup categories.
Hwang Yun-kyung of Swand Esthetic was appointed director of the creative division, which added life-stage beauty management, air-tox, and SMP as new areas.

October 8–9, at Cheonjiyeon Falls in Seogwipo, CIBA made its first appearance at the Cultural Heritage Administration and Jeju's event, providing fantasy makeup.
CIBA's first-ever art fair took place November 6 at the Babien Education Center in Seodaemun, held contactless due to the pandemic.
